If there’s one person who’s made an undeniable mark in the Philippine beauty industry, it’s the indispensable Fanny Serrano.
With his signature glamorous style, the multihyphenate artist has been a staple name in the showbiz world and beyond, making numerous connections and being the go-to for numerous personalities. He’s even been lovingly dubbed as “TF” (Tita Fanny) in the industry.
Today, we’re looking back on just a few of his most iconic styling credits throughout the years.
Celia Rodriguez
We kick it off with the makeup credit that put Fanny’s name on the map! Fanny’s work with Celia Rodriguez in the 1977 horror film Maligno gave him the name of Philippine’s Pioneer of Beauty. Seriously, with the vicious cat eye and bold look, Fanny was way ahead of the times even then.
Sharon Cuneta
Fanny and Sharon have worked together on numerous projects that have since cemented their bond in the industry. Starting from her 1990 film Kahit Konting Pagtingin, the duo have been inseparable in making the Megastar look her best on the camera.
Lorna Tolentino
During the debut issue of the Fanny Serrano-led former fashion magazine Upclose, Fanny styled the ever-beautiful Lorna in a series of looks ranging from rockstar-chic to classic beauty.
Catriona Gray
Would you believe that way before she was crowned Miss Universe, Fanny got to style the queen herself during the 2012 Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer run? Check it out here! With her bare-faced look, Catriona starred in the Fanny Serrano Cinematique Fiesta Sa Tag-Init collection.
Kiray Celis
Serving as a sort-of millennial muse for the celebrated stylist, Kiray has long been a sort-of Cinderella for the Fanny. The pair first made waves in 2013 when Fanny reinvented Kiray’s comedienne persona with a glam photoshoot that showed off her maturity and beauty. Since then, they’ve worked together on numerous projects — most recently in an elegant black and white photoshoot.
