Nip, Tuck: Celebrities Who Have Been Open About Getting Cosmetic Surgery

Their body, their choice.

If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Undergoing plastic surgery is a personal choice and if you’ve got the means, the right prepatation, and the willingness to do it, it’s entirely up to you! Check out these celebs who have been open about going under the knife.

Arci Munoz

The rocker has been open about getting plastic surgery for a while now. When the Internet erupted with the rumors that she got her nose done in 2017, Arci bravely spoke up and said: “Deny? No, never, what’s wrong with that? As if naman I committed a crime… it’s my life, my rules.”

Big “what about it?” energy.

Vice Ganda

The comedian spoke up about his personal choice of undergoing surgery during an episode of his late-night talk show Gandang Gabi Vice. He shared that our appearance is God’s gift, and how we choose to package it is entirely up to us.

“Hindi ba lahat naman tayo may kanya-kanya tayong choice kung paano natin babalutin ‘yung regalo? Iba nilalagyan ng ribbon para mas maganda, ‘yung iba, bibili ka ng mamahaling wrap para mas maganda. Para sa akin ganun lang ‘yung ginagawa mo.”

He went on to say that he’s had work done on his face, chin, eye lifting, and Botox.

Angeline Quinto

Dubbing herself as a “proud retokada”, Angeline has been transparent about the cosmetic surgeries she’s had in the past.

Angeline has previously shared on Instagram that she’s had liposuction (fat removal), thermage (non-invasive treatment to tighten the skin), breast reduction, and glutathione injection.

Lani Misalucha

The one and only Asia’s Nightingale has been an advocate for personal choice when it comes to getting some nip and tuck here and there, as she’s been transparent in getting her nose and teeth done in the past.

“Bakit ako mahihiya, it’s my choice. Kung ikaka-enhance ng features mo, ikabubuti, ikadadagdag ng appeal sa face mo, why not?”

No truer words have been said.
