Getting her start on Disney Channel, Zendaya has come a long way since. As one of her generation’s most well-known stars, Zendaya always puts her best foot forward—and that includes fashion. From wearing actual armor to the Met Gala to wearing Bvlgari diamonds reportedly worth over $6 million, the actress has undoubtedly had some iconic red-carpet moments under her belt.

Met Gala 2018
Undoubtedly one of Zendaya’s most iconic looks, she arrived at the 2018 Met Gala clad in an actual armor—and she somehow made it look chic. With “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination” as the theme, Zendaya’s Versace armor was a tribute to Joan of Arc. She completed her look with a pair of silver heels, rings, and her ginger bob!
SpiderMan: Far From Home Premiere
All eyes were on Zendaya during the SpiderMan: Far From Home Premiere in LA. Wearing a, what she described as “the Spidey suit, but make it fashion”, Zendaya donned a sequinned red and black backless dress from Giorgio Armani Privé.
2019 Emmys
Another one from her red hair era, Zendaya attended the 2019 Emmys in this stunning emerald green custom from Vera Wang. She paired it with green pumps, and accessorised with some dangling earrings and a diamond bangle. Giving off an old Hollywood look, Zendaya was sultry and elegant in this corset dress.
Critics Choice Awards 2020
Another look that made our heads turn, Zendaya showed up to the 2020 Critics Choice Awards in a fuchsia pink breastplate from Tom Ford. She paired it with a fuchsia pink skirt and heels. Zendaya also put her hair in braids to complete her look.
2020 Emmys
While the 2020 Emmys were not held in person and there was *technically* no red carpet due to the pandemic, Zendaya still went all out from the comforts of her home. Attending the awards show via Zoom, the actress donned a sparkly bralette and polka dot ball gown from Giorgio Armani Privé. Zendaya also made history by being the youngest star and second Black woman to win for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
Critics Choice Awards 2021
The pandemic seems to not put a halt in Zendaya’s iconic looks. While the 2021 Critics Choice Awards were held with both an in-person and virtual program, Zendaya opted to stay home and attend the show virtually. For this, she wore a white and orange ball gown from Valentino, and matched it with accessories from Bvlgari.

One of the first in person shows to happen this year, Zendaya made sure she was showing up in a dress that would make us give a second look—and she did not fail. Donning a yellow Valentino frock, Zendaya completed her look with Bvlgari diamonds, reportedly worth over $6million.
2021 BET Awards
Her most recent red carpet look, Zendaya made headlines with this violet number from Versace. Paying homage to Queen B, aka Beyonce, Zendaya wore a vintage 2003 Versace dress—the same one that Beyonce wore in 2003! She paired it with custom-dyed Stuart Weitzman heels and yellow diamonds from Bvlgari.
