Designed to respect the environment, the newest fragrance from Issey Miyake Parfums examines the beauty of uncatchable flowers with a subtle balance of natural and synthetic ingredients. Embracing the use of synthetic ingredients allows A Drop d’Issey to further broaden the creative horizon of perfumes, all while protecting nature through reproduction rather than destruction. For the first time in an Issey Miyake fragrance, an uncatchable flower is reconstituted by human hands–the lilac. Almond milk in the top notes opens a soft welcome to the wearer. The lilac scent is then paired with delicate orange blossom with rose to create a radiant bouquet with an uplifting floral heart. After a dash of star anise, the fragrance then rests on a base of creamy musks, with vanillin and Ambrox amplifying the sensation of softness. The fragrance is musky, cozy, and reassuring, like a cocoon of comfort.
