Here’s How To Get Your International Certificate Of Vaccination Online

Already planning your post-lockdown travels? You can now apply for your official vaccine passport online. Here’s what you need to know.

Recognized by the World Health Organization, the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) has rolled out its online application services for the International Certificate of Vaccination or ICV for COVID-19 in the Philippines. ICV serves as a global travel document with a unique QR code wherein other stakeholders (local and international) can verify the authenticity of the said certificate. Not all countries require the certificate and can accept vaccination cards as proof instead, but having both could avoid you a lot of hassle.

According to the BOQ, the ICV is only open to individuals who have completed their vaccination with the following brands:

– Pfizer

– AstraZeneca

– Johnson & Johnson

– Moderna 

– Sinopharm

– Sinovac

Priority will also be given to international travelers (OFWs, seafarers, and tourists) who have overseas contact or booking confirmations. The certificates cost PHP 300 and PHP 70 as a convenience fee (depending on the chosen mode of payment).

How To Book Your Appointment:

1. Book an appointment via the Bureau of Quarantine Website at boq.pisopay.com.ph/#

2. Enter your email address and click “Certification” for Service Category.

3. Select date and time for your appointment.

4. Fill out all the necessary information.

5. Upload the required documents.

• Vaccine Certificate from the LGU that administered your vaccine
• Vaccination Card
• ID for verification

6. Pay for booklet and processing via LBC, 7-Eleven, and other online payment services.

7. Save the QR code generated.

On Your Appointment Day:

1. Present QR Code along with receipt of payment.
2. Bring your vaccine certificate, vaccine card and ID
3. Wait for your International Certificate of Vaccination to be printed and handed to you.
