It’s Game On For Louis Vuitton

The French luxury house will be launching LV200: Louis the Game to celebrate founder Louis Vuitton’s 200th birthday.

From luxury bags to iconic fashion pieces, Louis Vuitton has now ventured into the world of mobile gaming. In celebration of what would have been the luxury fashion house’s founder’s 200th birthday, Louis Vuitton will be releasing a mobile video game LV200: Louis The Game.

The mobile game features Vivienne, aka the brand’s mascot, who will be travelling great lengths to unlock the founder’s origin story—including Vuitton’s two-year journey on foot before he reached Paris, from his hometown of Anchay, and his humble beginnings as a trunk maker to a luxury company founder.

Players will start in the Louis Forest, and then steer Vivienne through places like Adventure Kingdom, Monogram Island, Sunshine Metropolis, and Birthday Extravaganza—all of which are reminiscent of locations such as Paris, Beijing, London, New York, and more.

The aim of the game is to collect as many monogram candles as possible, as well as keys to access each level. Louis Vuitton also integrated the latest blockchain technology, including 30 NFTs, or non-fungible tokens—10 of which were created by digital artist Beeple. You can also play with your friends and family, with a global leaderboard that allow you to compete with your friends.

A true creative innovator, LV200: Louis The Game redefines storytelling and proves that heritage and disruption can co-exist—the perfect way to celebrate the man behind an iconic brand.

The mobile game app will go live on August 4, 2021, at 9AM. You can download it through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
