There’s always something magical about the tandem of a beauty queen and her token designer. Marc Rancy and Jasmine Umali have that special connection. More than it being a good mix of energies, it is also a relationship fostered by time. Not a lot know this, but the two have been working together since the start of the 2021. Jasmine appeared in Marc’s Joie De Vivre FW21 collection last June and they’ve been collaborating since.
This just goes to show that their bond extends beyond Miss Universe Philippines. The two aren’t just collaborative partners, but friends in real life. Through this friendship, they were able to bring art to life in the many creations by the designer and the beauty queen. Class and Sensuality
Make up artist, Byron Velasquez, even said, “Jasmine has a beautiful face, which already makes a good canvas. You can easily create glamorous looks.” And, they did. The high end glamour of makeup accompanied by Marc’s taupe jumpsuit and orange dress played well with Jasmine’s queenly image. “Jasmine has that allure that really captivates you when she walks into a room. Just looking at her beautiful face, statuesque height and slender figure really makes you want to know her,” says Marc.
Ready For The Finals
It’s confirmed. Marc Rancy will be dressing Jasmine Umali for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Finals. He gives us a few hints on how the gown will turn out without, of course, revealing the color. “All I could say is the gown gives justice to the energy she naturally possesses: a perfect mix of class and sensuality with a beauty that is worthy to be revered. The cut is very classic, as the goal was to emphasize her statuesque frame. (It is) modern without losing the opulence worthy of the Miss Universe stage,” shares Marc.
This goes without saying that Miss Manila is ready for Miss Universe PH 2021’s Grand Coronation night. Aside from her beauty and strong sex appeal, Jasmine also has a fighting spirit along with a compassionate heart. She stands her ground and is beyond the criticism and bullying. Through her many active platforms, Jasmine shows that she is unbothered and unapologetic for being herself. No matter what gets in her way, she has enough confidence to know she can make it to the end.
