These Filipino Celebs Have Had Their Faces Up On New York City Billboards

New York, New York.

In the so-called City Of Dreams, it can be wonderful to get swept in its flashy lights and amazing sights. With New York being the ultimate travel goal for many, it’s a completely different dream to actually be one of the faces amid the flashing lights.

Luckily, these celebrities have already had that dream fulfilled:

Nadine Lustre

Nadine graced Times Square in New York with her presence through an inclusive playlist campaign from music streaming site, Spotify.

The EQUAL Playlist aimed to gather female musicians from South East Asia, with Nadine serving as its cover artist for the month of April.

Nadine shared the photo through Instagram with the caption: “We made it to nyc fam!” She also tagged CARELESS, the music label she shares with her ex-boyfriend, James Reid.

Heart Evangelista

Aside from being a globetrotter, Heart also had a brief stint as a digital billboard model in New York City for the sustainable fashion brand, Ia’s Threads by Ia Faraoni.

Heart shared the news on Instagram back in January, when she was also visiting New York at the time.

“I still can’t believe that my billboard for @iasthreads is displayed in Times Square in New York! I’m so grateful for such an incredible opportunity to highlight a sustainable brand that shows the talented craftsmanship of Filipino artisans.

“God is truly good!”

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla

Even New York is feeling the Kathniel sweetness! In a digital ad for a beverage brand, the longtime couple can be seen sharing a drink in Times Square.

Karla Estrada shared the news and gushed that “I wish I’m in Times Square right now! At mag sisisigaw ako ng anak ko yan! Anak ko yan!!! Congratulations Kathniel and the entire team!”

They also shared the spot with the rising P-Pop boy group, SB19.

Ylona Garcia

This former Pinoy Big Brother housemate and 88rising artist also joined Spotify’s EQUAL playlist with her very own vertical digital billboard!

In the October 2021 cover of the campaign, Ylona couldn’t help but fangirl over her own feature.
