It was a night of laughter, glamour and talent at Okada Manila for Vice Ganda’s first Unkabogable Ball. The event started with a stunning set of red carpet looks commentated by Miss Trans Global 2020, Mela Habijan. Macoy Dubs was the first guest to arrive. He kicked off the event in a pastel ball gown adorned with flower prints. After which, came a flurry of dazzling gowns in a variety of colors and textures. The theme was Ekseherada Extravaganza, so you can expect everyone to bring their best fashion forward.

There were even outfits that could be considered performance art. Jake Galvez and Martin Joseph walked the red carpet in a black ensemble that was attached to a train of balloons. Later on, they were announced as one of the best dressed attendees by Vice Ganda.

Other celebrities seen on the red carpet were Dr. Vicki Belo wearing a Dior look, Bang Pineda in the Gucci x Balenciaga Hacker Project hourglass jacket, Awra Briguela in Jan Garcia, Pipay Kipay in Carl Arcusa, Paolo Ballesteros in his own design, and Pose actress and Ultimate Champion of Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6, Jiggly Caliente. After the guests were all seated, Vice Ganda made her grand entrance in a shimmering silver number.

Following the red carpet was a a four course meal provided by Okada Manila. Once all the guests were stuffed from the gourmet meals provided, the on stage festivities began.

Asia’s finest Dancing-Drag Queens, O Bar’s roster of performers, danced the night away in solo and group performances. They lip-synced to chart topping hits by Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Tina Turner, and Sarah Geronimo. Guests were in for a musical delight when Enzo Almario, Matty Juniosa, and Lucas Garcia hit the stage to perform a song together. There was even a special dance number from Star of the Night, Awra Briguela and Argie Roquero.

To end the night, Vice Ganda opened the floor for questions from her community. The Unkabogable star said, “I want to be the bridge to create a relationship amongst all of us.” She went on to say that there was no one to hold her hand during her rise to fame, so she wants to help out all of those who are in the community reach their dreams. It was a solemn way to end the night. Many shared their love and appreciation for Vice and their friends in the community. All in all, it was night that marked the start of a beautiful relationship between entertainers and content creators in the LGBTQ+ community.

Prior to going to Okada Manila, all guests were required to take Antigen Swab test in an IATF accredited facility for coronavirus testing.
