COS Takes London Fashion Week By Storm With Its A/W ’21 Collection

London-based label COS debuted its AW21 collection at London Fashion Week.

London Fashion Week is back in full swing and COS is taking the runway by storm. In a hybrid show, the contemporary fashion brand introduced its AW21 collection at the highly anticipated fashion week. The show is a combination of a physical catwalk, artistic portraiture, and moving image.

Staying true to their contemporary and classic style, the AW21 collection is all about redefining wardrobe staples. COS explores tonal dressing, pairing neutral tones such as white and beige with vibrant autumn shades like yellow and shades of blue. The collection also features a new take on prints such as checks, stripes, and houndstooth.

This season’s womenswear is all about relaxed fits, oversized silhouettes, and retro and ’90s inspired looks. Enlarged collars and lapels, routed sleeves, geometric prints, tailored pieces and pinstripes are prominent within the collection. The AW21 collection also comprised of statement knitwear formed of heavily weight yarns, and also responsible sourced mohair.

On the other hand, menswear focused on laidback and effortless streetwear styles. Intrinsic details, exposed zips and seams, and other details are featured within the collection. Menswear knits are inspired by 1970s-style graphic jacquard, landscapes, and earthy textures. Accessories also take centre stage, with faux fur clutches, leather gloves, scarves, and hooded hybrids give the perfect pops of colors into the collection. A fresh take on classic footwear such as chunky brogues and high shaft boots are also available.

The campaign also features actor Manny Jacinto, activist, futurist and storyteller, Janaya Future Khan, and supermodel Raquel Zimmerman, alongside other inspiring innovators and creators.
