Are you ready for the much awaited Miss Universe Philippines 2021 coronation night? 25 beauty queens from all over the Philippines will be competing for the crown in Bohol tonight. Pageant fans are excited to witness the Q&A segment, final evening gown walk, and more. Who are you rooting for tonight? (7:00 pm) The Miss Universe Philippines beauty pageant kicked off with a virtual performance of P-Pop girl group, Bini. Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Rabiya Mateo, led the 2021 candidates as they danced and walked to the song, Born to Win. After which, host, KC Montero, continued the festivities by giving the stage to each of the 25 candidates, so they could introduce themselves.
(7:15 pm) There was a brief segment showcasing the ladies’ SHEIN dresses. Next up, they announced the winners of special awards. First to win an award was Katrina Dimaranan for Miss Belo Sun Expert. Second is Miss Copper Mask with winner Princess Kristha Singh. Third was Miss Organic Barley, Leren Mae Bautista. Fourth is Miss Albay, Janela Joy Cuaton, for Miss KPads. The fifth winner is Miss Taguig, Katrina Dimaranan, once again for Miss Save Plus. The sixth winner is Maureen Wrobelwitz for Miss Air Asia. The seventh winner is for the official show sponsor, Jojo Bragais. The winner is once again Leren Mae Bautista, representing Laguna. The winner of Miss Red Fox Labs is Miss Masbate. The winner of Miss Hennan Resort is Miss Pangasinan, Maureen Wrobelwitz. Lastly, best of National Costume is Miss Mandaluyong, Corrine Abalos, and Miss Lazada is Miss Masbate, Kisses Delavin.
(7:30 pm) KC Montero announced that there are two additional crowns for the night. There will be in total three winners of the night including the Miss Universe Philippines. The first candidate that entered the top 16 is Miss Masbate. Continued by Miss Pangasinan, Miss Aklan, Miss Misamis Oriental, Miss Manila, Miss Albay, Miss Cavite, Miss Angeles, Miss Mandaluyong, Miss Taguig, Miss Cebu Province, Miss Laguna, Miss Parañaque, Miss Romblon, Miss San Juan, and Miss Cebu City.
(7:50 pm) KC Montero now introduces all the judges. First is Joanne Gomes, second is Shiela Romero, third is Sam Verzosa, fourth is Doctor Vicki Belo, and fifth is Jojie Lloren. Together with them is Shamcey Supsup, Jonas Gaffud, and Albert Andrada.
(8:00 pm) The much awaited swimsuit competition kicks off with songs by Sam Concepcion. The girls wear heels from Jojo Bragais with matching red swimsuits in different styles. The first girl who walks down the runway is Miss Masbate. Followed by Miss Pangasinan, Miss Aklan, Miss Misamis Oriental, Miss Manila, Miss Albay, Miss Cavite, Miss Angeles City, Miss Mandaluyong, Miss Taguig, Miss Cebu Province, Miss Laguna, Miss Parañaque, Miss Romblon, Miss San Juan, and Miss Cebu City. The beauty queens then walked in twos to show off their fit bodies and natural beauty.
(8:22 pm) We take a look back at Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Rabiya Mateo’s, reign as the Philippine representative for the global pageant. Looking back, she wasn’t able to get the crown in person, but she is extremely happy for the experience she has gone through along her journey. She went through so much despite the pandemic and participated in many philanthropic endeavors. Rabiya Mateo thanks the pageant fans for their love and support during her reign as Miss Universe 2020. She takes her last walk as the Miss Universe Philippines queen and even acknowledges tripping while speaking to KC Montero. The beauty queen and host talk about Rabiya’s advice to the contending queens and the Rabiyanatics who have helped her along the way. She then reveals that she will be entering show business as an actress and host.
(8:30 pm) We now take a look back at all the video challenges the queens submitted during their time in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. Everything was put on display so we could all reminisce the wonderful memories the fans and the queens shared together.
(8:38 pm) The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 beauty queens give recognition to the designers who have helped them along the way. They explain their evening gowns and how they were able to work together to make their pageant dreams come true. Now, the girls thank their team followed by the names of the designers. Truly, each of the artist’s works are phenomenal.
