The Sky Is The Limit For One Mega Group and Cornerstone Entertainment

Two media giants, One Mega Group and Cornerstone Entertainment, come together in the middle of the pandemic to form a creative partnership.

In an unexpected turn of events, all of our lives changed in just a blink of an eye. It was in 2020 when all of us were faced with a situation none of us were prepared for—the COVID-19 pandemic. For One Mega Group, the pandemic brought about the biggest (and probably the most important) turning point of all, the focus on digital platforms for each brand.

Now that we’re all stuck in the comfort of our homes, and with no where else to go, the digital world has become our safe space. From staying in touch with friends and family to keeping up with—albeit sometimes depressing—news, digital media has become our only tool during these times. “Digital is so important especially now. From the comforts of their homes, Filipinos can enjoy news and entertaining content while staying safe,” shares Suki Salvador, president of One Mega Group. It is also during this time that we’ve found like-minded people who share the same values as we do. For One Mega Group, it was Cornerstone Entertainment.

“I believe in working with like-minded individuals and companies,” Suki Salvador shares. “Values are very important for me and when the team and I spoke to Cornerstone, we discovered that we shared similar values of innovation and content.” Archie Carrasco, Chairman and CEO of One Mega Group, agrees. “I think Cornerstone is the next big talent management agency in the country. They are very innovative and not afraid to take risks. They don’t only develop their artists to be actors but to go beyond acting by allowing them to explore what else they can contribute in the entertainment industry,” he shares. “Cornerstone is very much like  One MEGA Group. We keep on innovating. We move very fast. And most of all, we celebrate Filipino talents.” That is why a partnership occurs between two media giants. One Mega Group and Cornerstone Entertainment come together for eight breathtakingly beautiful covers for the month of September.

With two creatives coming together, the covers are of course, nothing short of aesthetically pleasing—but there is more to the seemingly blue-themed covers this month. “When you think of taking up space, there is a sense of conquering fractions and fractions of a whole until you have secured enough grounds to establish yourself. But taking up space shouldn’t also feel like there’s a limit or a ceiling for opportunities,” shares Jann Pascua, creative director. “On the contrary, we should all have the privilege to break boundaries, soar high and reach for the sky. And when you think of the color blue, there is a sense of vastness or infinity that we associate the color with—whether it’s the sky, the ocean, or even the universe.” For MEGA, it’s all about women taking (and owning) their space; MEGA Man shows men creating space for their feelings; and MEGA Style is all about living your truth and breaking boundaries.

This month, OMG and Cornerstone Entertainment is taking up space, breaking boundaries, and conquering the universe. With stars like Catriona Gray, Sam Milby, Piolo Pascual, and Inigo Pascual, among others, gracing the covers, Cornerstone Entertainment has proven to be one of the country’s top creative agencies that champions talent and creativity—also creating their own legacy in an industry that is nothing short of challenging.
